Engineering and Automation Project by TENTI for VLT Carioca
TENTI developed an engineering and automation project aimed at monitoring the operational conditions of the control panels at the VLT Carioca stations.
The objective was to protect the infrastructure against damage such as break-ins, fires, and floods, while also monitoring critical variables such as temperature, humidity, and lighting functionality.
Solution:
A system was created to continuously monitor operational conditions. The data collected was transmitted in real-time to the Control Center. When any anomaly was detected, the necessary corrective measures were immediately triggered, ensuring the integrity of the stations and the safety of passengers.
Results:
- Full Implementation: The project included implementation, assembly, testing, commissioning, and start-up of the automation system across the VLT Carioca stations.
- Efficient Monitoring: The system provided comprehensive control of the equipment installed at stops and stations, ensuring safe and efficient operations.
